Researcher for Bulgarian language sources
Dr. Ivaylo Nachev has MA degrees in Modern History of Southeastern Europe and European Studies from Sofia University and the University of Amsterdam. He obtained his PhD degree in 2011, and currently works as a research associate at the Institute for Balkan Studies at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. His latest major publication (as а co-author) is the monograph Sofia and the Balkan modernity (published in Bulgarian as София и балканската модерност). His main research interests are in fields including urban history, history of science and technology, and intellectual history.
