It is with great sadness that we have been informed of the passing of Ronald Numbers, one of today’s most influential historians of science.
Ronald Numbers was one of the inspiring figures behind Project Science and Orthodoxy around the World, a title influenced by a book edited by him and John Hedley Brooke. He has been a member of the project’s scientific committee since 2016, and for the past three years, he chaired, together with Kostas Tampakis, the project’s group on the history of the relationship between science and Orthodox Christianity.
